I just got a brand new Kit doll within the last couple of months, and her eyes are a deep aquamarine, not pale at all. I think it's just the camera angles, or the bright lighting needed for the photographs that are making here eyes appear lighter. I had an older Kit doll with Silver Eye, (which is why I got a new doll) and I got the replacement before I sent the old one in, and their eyes were the same color.

Just a thought - if they are changing the eye color it might not show up in new Kits for awhile. They would likely sell most of their stock of older Kit dolls with the darker blue eyes before the newer ones would be sent out. Still hoping it's just a catalog flaw, though.

I'll try to get some scoop and check out all the display Kits on Saturday. If she is being changed, I'll throw a fit, okay?

I am so glad Kit was one of my first AG's then! I think her eyes are so lovely and actually prefer them to Kirsten/Elizabeth's pale blue ones. If they have to change for supply reasons, why not at least do a new shade of blue instead of using the one already being used on two other historicals?
